- Convention costs include annual
membership dues (regular member $50, retired
member $25) and taxes.
- A Previous Membership expires immediately
before the Convention.
- Retirees must provide proof of
their status.
- Postdated cheques are not
accepted.
- An official receipt will be
included in the convention package.
- All refunds must be requested in
writing within 14 days of the convention.
- A $20 administration fee and
membership dues are not refundable.

If you are a university student and are
interested in attending the upcoming convention,
convention
registration forms for full-time students are
available. A registration form must be
authorized by a member of the teaching or
administrative personnel of the university.

of $250 will be awarded to enable Quebec TESL university
students to attend the SPEAQ Convention
at the Hilton Quebec in November.

Elections:
Positions on the SPEAQ board are for 2 years
terms. There are 7 members and in alternative
years, three or four executive seats are up for
renewal or from time to time, vacancies. Nomination forms for the Board of Directors
are available in the
Preliminary Program or as
an individual pdf file
in September of each year.
Please send the nomination form with a
personal résumé of approximately 300 words to
