Workshop Leaders / Presenters

   ______________________________________________________

Note to workshop leaders:

You are encouraged to post your workshop files or links prior to or following the convention, as you wish. You may also request a time period that the material is available.

Please include the title of the workshop, the name of the presenter of the workshop and a short description.

If your workshop files or links can be shared with all on this webpage:

Attach them to an email to the SPEAQ WebMaster. If your files are over 2 mg, please contact the SPEAQ WebMaster in order to make arrangements for transferring and displaying your files.

or

If you prefer your workshop files be offered only to participants of your workshop :

this can be accomplished by making arrangements with the  SPEAQ WebMaster to create a private space on our site. You would then give out the "key" during your workshop. Please advise the SPEAQ WebMaster of the size ( mg's) of your files in order to take appropriate arrangements.

N.B. All photocopies, handouts, CDs, etc. are the sole responsibility of the presenters. SPEAQ does not provide this service, nor is it liable for any infringement of copyright laws.

Thank you for sharing and being GREEN.

Encouraging Oral Interaction in Beginner Classes (zip)
Tony Jenniss
The goal of this workshop is to present a variety of activities and strategies a teacher can use to promote oral interaction in class, especially with students who are unwilling to take the initiative. Most of these activities can be used in Cycle Three elementary and Cycle One secondary with only a minimum of adaptation and they can be
integrated into a classroom routine. Tony Jenniss graduated from Laval University in 2005, but started teach-
ing English to both adults and children in 2002. He is currently teaching at Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil Elementary School in Drummondville.      Elementary Cycle Three, Secondary Cycle One

Purple Circle - INTENSIG documents

They have been prepared by Frédéric Bédard, Lucy Panetta, Rosemary Reader, Wynanne Watts, and myself for the INTENSIG  group, a Special Interest Group within SPEAQ.
Enjoy!
