Elementary Cycle One       

        

  • Animal Detective is a SPEAQ-quest designed for elementary cycle 1 and 2 students. Young students might need teacher's explanations first. The idea of this quest is to introduce traditional songs and nursery rhymes. There are 3 levels of difficulty with different contents and evaluation criteria.  The teacher can decide which level is more suitable for his/her students.

  • Pirates Ahoy! is a SPEAQ-quest adventure where you navigate through the world of pirates as you collect treasure after treasure until you find the jackpot. You will learn, you will play and you will discover Treasure Island, a great pirate story.

  • I want a pet! A quest for the right pet for the right person and circumstances.

  • Do You Believe In Lake Monsters? An ESL WebQuest exploring the world of "Memphré" Lake Memphremagog's underwater creature.

  • Will Robots Replace Humans In The Future? Students answer the question after several activities and research that lead them to explore the topic, form an opinion and write a paragraph where they give their opinion and arguments in support . 

  • Ahoy! Pirates is a SPEAQ-quest adventure where you navigate through the world of pirates as you collect treasure after treasure until you find the jackpot. You will learn, you will play and you will discover Treasure Island, a great pirate story.

  • Stepping lightly through Nature (jr)  explore the concept of Carbon Footprint by doing an Internet quiz using strategies and taking note of elements that would minimize footprints and help the environment. Present a personal list and illustrate with a poster.

You will present your invention at an invention exhibition and persuade people that you have the winning invention!
